Obviously Toyota has massive plans for more of its world acclaimed hybrid cars for the Tokyo Motor Show. The Japanese car major had earlier stated in its press release that it is going to display 3 new concept versions of the JDM Aqua, which is better known as the popular Prius C hybrid hatchback in the global car markets. The 3 various concepts of the Toyota JDM Aqua that are going to be showcased include the Cross, Air Roadster and the G Sports. However now, Toyota has revealed its plans to showcase yet another concept of the car, named as the ‘Premi Aqua’.

Not many details about the Premi Aqua concept were released by Toyota. However, the Japanese giant has provided the rendered images of the dashing vehicle. The renderings provide an ample amount of information about the stunning design language that this new car is going to get once its production model comes out.

The vehicle looks very contemporary and classy with smooth flowing overall design and a great bold and aggressively designed front fascia. Even the name of the car ‘Premi’ suggests that it is going to be premium and a highly luxurious version of the Aqua.

The images provided by the Japanese car giant reveals a very attractive frontal look of the new concept that features a very stylized honeycombed grille that is something similar to that of the JDM Crown Athlete sedan. The front fascia of the Premi Aqua is further enhanced with very bold cuts and lines along with new attractive headlights and a completely different bumper design. The concept car also shows a pair of very stylishly placed fog lights. The side profile of the car has been kept neat and sleek with smooth lines flowing and very stylish alloy wheels. The rear design of the Premi Aqua concept is equally stunning and attention grabbing with unique tail lights and bold cuts all over. The swept up roofline adds to the smooth and sleek contemporary looks of the vehicle.

The interior of the Premi Aqua is shown as very premium and up-class featuring new design. The all black interiors feature premium leather upholstery along with contrast stitching to add to its great looks. The piano black trimmings and accents add to the overall premium looks of the cabin.

As mentioned before, Toyota has not revealed any other details regarding the mechanical specifications of the car. However, as the Tokyo Motor Show begins tomorrow, we can expect a lot more to be revealed at the grand auto event. Toyota is surely well prepared for the show.

The car was unveiled at the Tokyo motor show which is a mirror image of the Prius, is a stunning looking hatch with a classy demeanour. The car has an impressive fuel efficiency of 35 kilometres per litre, which is among the top cars to have the highest fuel efficiency.

The company is targeting at launching more than 10 models of Aqua gasoline cars by 2015, to create a ‘’Green Revolution’’ effect. Toyota also aims at a monthly sale of 12,000 units. The Aqua is fitted with a powerful 1.5-liter Atkinson four-cylinder engine along with an efficient electric motor. The car has higher dimensional features compared to the Prius with a length of 3.9 meters compared to 4.48 meters in Prius. The car out beats the Prius even in terms of cost with a price of 22% less than the Prius. The car has stunning interiors fitted with the Exhaust-Gas Recirculation (EGR) system to cool the engine in order to improve the efficiency. The car is powered with an excellent battery pump designed with nickel metal hydride.

Toyota Aqua is available in four stunning colours such as Earth Brown, Fresh Green, Cool Blue and Natural Grey.  The car will arrive at a price of Rs 1142973. The New Toyota Aqua will come with an impressive mileage of 40 kilometres per litre with the same outstanding power train as the Prius. The Aqua is surely among the best seller list among Toyota cars, for its stunning features along with most importantly being among the top fuel efficient cars, it comes as no surprise than the car has impressive sales record which has overtaken even the stunning Prius.
