Toyota Etios has satisfied millions of Indian’s with its exclusive style statement and voluminous interiors. The company is now geared to launch a cross variant of the car called Etios Cross. The Etios was launched to cater to developing nations like India; Toyota is now keen to push the car in Brazil.
The Etios sedan and hatch was showcased in Argentinean markets, car enthusiasts have now spotted a cross version of the car in the streets of Argentina. Sources have extracted information on the details of the car and announced that the spy car is built on Etios hatch platform. One feature to note which distinguishes the Etios hatch from Cross is the classy fifteen inch alloy fitted wheels, decorated in vibrant and classy colors of silver plastic and black. Another marked distinguishing factor is the rear spoiler and large roof bars.
The Etios cross is expected to hit Argentinean markets sometime in 2013, and will arrive with a powerful 1.5 liter flex fuel engine that will churn efficient engine outputs at 96.5 bhp and will cost Rs 11 lakhs. Those who are already excited with the characteristics of the car, it is still unclear on whether the car will hit Indian markets, but sources claim that the car might be launched for the Indian mass. Etios cross is a more loaded version of the XLS variant of Etios, for a more up market appeal the car is draped in plastic with professional upgrades to deliver a false cross appeal.
