Toyota India has been doing a brisk business on the Indian shores with its successful people mover – Innova, moving out of showrooms at a rapid speed and with the newly launched Fortuner, finding praise with buyers and critics alike. Toyota has plans of introducing a third car to its highly successful ‘Innovative International Multipurpose Vehicle’ segment in India. This will be the Toyota Avanza, which has already been launched in Thailand and is positioned between the Innova and the Fortuner.
In terms of space, the Avanza will be smaller than its bigger sibling Innova. Also, the Avanza will likely be 20 to 25 percent cheaper as compared to Innova. It is also expected that Avanza will be powered by the same 1495cc powertrain, which also sits beneath the hood of the Thailand variant. This petrol powertrain generates peak power output of 102 bhp at 6000 rpm and churns a peak torque of 136 Nm at 440 rpm. Industry experts are expecting that the Avanza will be launched on Indian shores anytime soon.
Toyota Avanza is an epitome of style and joy bundled into one. The Avanza has copious space inside for the entire family to comfortably drive and also provides a robust and sporty ride with thrills and fun that are sure to leave you impressed. The bold aero-kit design as well as the styling is a show stealer and also the striking rear and front bumper spoiler. The 15 inch alloy wheels as well as the chrome accents on the door handles lend it stunning appeal. All the trims are embellished with front and rear headlamps and the entire design of the Avanza renders for stunning and effortless departure and entry.
The chic appearance sported by the clear lens headlights effervescently contrasts the dual layered chrome accented front grille. The Avanza’s front grille also sports the Toyota logo in the centre. The air-dam is placed horizontally on the front bumper which forms the mouth opening of this MPV and well complements the circle shaped fog lights. The Avanza’s beauty is further enhanced by the front lip spoiler.
The interiors of the Avanza are complemented by comfortable and spacious seven seats and dark colored premium leather upholstery that lends a soothing and chic appeal to the interiors. Indeed, the Avanza proves to be an outstanding accommodation for the entire family and all your near and dear ones. The three seats in the rear and the separate one seat can be easily folded to accommodate luggage and there is already abundant space for storing all belongings. The dual blower air conditioning system inside the cabin ensures the interior temperature stays desirable and soothing at all times. The cabin also has an advanced audio system to provide exceptional sound quality.
When the Toyota launches the Avanza in India, it is bound to be the most stylish and feature-packed MPV in this segment. For many, the Avanza appears to be a muscular version of the Innova, only with smaller size and dimensions. This MPV has attracted a lot of attention in the global markets with the facelift which was recently launched.
