Toyota is a world renowned auto figure; the company has conquered various car design cues from Etios Liva, Corolla sedan to Fortuner Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV). The Fortuner is a highly urbanized SUV, and appears magnificent in its grand compact structure. The front portion is tailored with artistically carved head lights molded into a slanted rectangular structure and shiny round fog lights.
Toyota has introduced an interesting interior design theme for the Fortuner the car will now have black interiors. The earlier version of the car had a vibrant sand beige theme. The black interior theme will be visible in the cushions as well, with few silver shades here and there.
The 2.7V variant of Fortuner will be inserted with black panels with refined wood finish. This is a different theme compared to the 2.5 G version where the panel has a glossy silver finish. An interesting point to note here is in all versions, the Fortuner will have ISOFIX which means attachment assists for child safety seats.
In India Toyota has recently launched the Fortuner TRD Sportivo edition, and this is a killer launch for ardent Fortuner fans. The car is built to meet the requirements of those who are into sporty cars. There are however only 400 pieces of the car which is up for sale. For some interesting information, the car is manufactured by (TRD) Toyota Racing Department, and the variant offered is 4x4MT.
Driving a sporty SUV is something most people would dream of and Toyota has turned thousand dreams into reality. Customer choice options will now be widened, since people can chose between normal and sporty cars. The secret behind the sporty appeal of Fortuner is newly designed double shade bumper spoiler the back and front, sporty design on the sides and front grill with an artistically carved TRD theme.
The Fortuner TRD Sportivo editions as the name implies is equipped with a powerful 3 liter engine, built with four cylinders. This dynamite engine churns 342Nm torque and 169 bhp power. There is power transmission to the four wheels through four wheel drive and 5 speed manual transmission system. To complement its urban sporty language the car is rolled out in interesting shades of silver mica and super white.
Toyota has now built interesting new variants of Fortuner; the latest model is decorated with a black interior theme and few silver patches on the cushions. Customers can now experience a different single shade interior atmosphere, and with the mention of black interiors with sprinkles of silver on cushion, the image appears to be similar to that of a haunted house. Such interior scenes are common in haunted house games commonly found in malls and amusement parks.
Fortuner fans can rejoice with the TRD Sportivo edition and black cabin, both are exciting pieces to just have fun and experience a totally different car atmosphere. The Fortuner is a popular vacation model in India it is used as an army transporting model and draped in bullet proof material. The car is an attractive medium for travel buffs to enjoy a world tour. Car enthusiasts have travelled many countries via the on road route with the Fortuner and the distance covered is a whooping 70,000 kms. This is a magical model indeed.
