Toyota plans to recall over 400,000 Saudi Arabian Toyota models

Toyota Motor Corporation is a renowned global brand figure; the company has incorporated powerful engineering technologies into its models to flow with eras. The Corolla is one of its classic pieces born in 1960’s; the car sports a brand new vehicle identity even today. The first Corolla make looks stunningly different from the present day model.

The car buying power has shot up all over the globe; the main trigger for this is the advent of novel and powerful technologies where new products and variations of existing products are introduced every other day. This has resulted in more jobs and higher employment rate, and working professionals today have greater means to lead a luxurious life. Reputed car firms like Toyota Motor Corporation have to keep up with growing car demand and manufacture several models at one shot.

If thousands of cars have to be manufactured at one go, then there are chances of defects. Even established brands like Toyota have to take measures to correct the defects. The company has to recall over 400,000 pieces in South Arabian markets, the recalled vehicles are those manufactured from the years 2006-2010. The main issue here was a non functional accelerator, as stated by the Trade Ministry of Saudi Arabia. This is not the first time that such a scenario has occurred, from the years 2009-2011; Toyota has to recall 19 million of its cars. The issue here was again a defective accelerator.

Toyota has worked out a strategy to fix the issue, a Saudi Arabian agent, Abdul Latif Jameel Co and Toyota has zeroed in on fitting a new brake system to the affected models as stated by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Saudi Arabia. This is not the first time Toyota has to correct acceleration defects in overseas markets, Toyota cars in America had to be recalled, and here too the company employed the same strategy to insert a new brake unit.

Toyota has explored the depths of advanced engineering technologies, the company’s posh Lexus model had no requirement for a new brake system and the company assured of optimum safety without the brake system insertion.  In 2011, regulators in US observed that few Toyota brands drifted at super high speeds and there was no electric support for the vehicle to maneuver at balanced speeds. Toyota is positive about its cars being safe without a brake system, the reason for it to recall vehicles in South Arabian markets is to make sure customers are confident and stress free. The country’s Minister for trade also requested that a new brake system should be inserted into defective Toyota vehicles.

The insertion of override brake system will lower the speed of the car when driver’s put a lot of force on the accelerator. It also reduces the power supple to engine. Toyota has built its models with advanced safety car technologies; the fitment of override brake system is a safety wonder feature. Cars built with this technology are a pathway to guaranteed safety where technology safeguards the lives of occupants.
