Japanese auto major Toyota though a revered name in the Indian car market, is not as popular here as the other international markets owing its premium tag. Toyota India is expected to launch as many as three new models in the year 2016. These three are namely the much anticipated Vios sedan, Next generation Innova and the all new Fortuner.

Toyota Vios
The Toyota Vios sedan is massively popular in the global markets and has been a long awaited car in India. Toyota has been contemplating the Indian launch of this mid-sized sedan for some time now. The Vios in India could be powered by a 1.5 liter petrol and a 1.4 liter D-4D diesel mill. The luxurious sedan is expected to offer the fuel efficiency of around 15 kmpl in its petrol version, whereas the diesel variants are likely to offer around 20 kmpl. The interiors of the India spec Vios are expected to be feature-rich and luxurious.
2016 Innova
The 2016 all new Toyota Innova MPV is a highly awaited launch. The all new model of this leading MPV in India is surely expected to be hugely appreciated, as it will come with stunning new looks, expected enhanced performance and great new features. The next-gen Innova is expected to get an all-new diesel motor – a 2.4 liter ‘GD’ mill generating around 148 bhp of power and 400 Nm of torque. The new Innova will also get a 6-speed automatic and manual gearbox choices. The all new Innova will be loaded with many more comfort and safety features compared to the current model.
2016 Toyota Fortuner
The upcoming next generation Toyota Fortuner premium SUV will be more aggressive and more capable than ever before. The super hit premium SUV is expected to pack in a new 2.5 liter 4 cylinder diesel motor offering about 148 bhp of power and 343 Nm of torque, paired with a 5 speed manual gearbox. And a 2.8 liter diesel engine is likely to generate 177 bhp of power and 420 Nm of torque mated to 6 speed automatic transmission.
The 2016 Fortuner will be getting much more aggressive styling and handsome looks with a new design language to charm the audience even better. The SUV interiors will be also very feature-rich with a new centre console and an advanced touchscreen system.
