The average price of Innova is Rs 14.92 lakhs and the average price of Mobilio is Rs 11.55 lakhs.

The two cars are equally powerful with respect to nature of interior equipments and comfort. Innova is a bigger car and Mobilio provides superior mileage power.

Toyota Fortuner

The new Fortuner will be made available with a 2.5 litre diesel engine which is currently being used in the Toyota Innova. But Toyota has modified the same engine to make it produce 142 bhp of max power from the tiny 100 bhp which it used to produce. This engine will be mated to a manual gearbox and will deliver the power to only two wheels. The new Fortune 2.5 is being expected to be around Rs 1 lakh cheaper than the normal Toyota Fortuner. At present, the Fortuner is priced around Rs 21.82 lakh to Rs 23.41 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi).

While Toyota Fortuner has its own piece of share of the market, Hyundai didn’t keep quite. The new Santa Fe is the answer to the Fortuner’s reign in the market. The Hyundai Sante Fe is available in the price bracket of Rs 22.35 lakh to Rs 25.37 lakh (ex showroom Delhi) which is similar to that of the Fortuner’s. And at this price the Santa Fe not only looks much more modern, mature and intelligent than the Fortuner but it also offers a lot more. Sante Fe is available in a diesel engine only but with different combinations of gearboxes. The mill is a 2.2 litre diesel unit which produces a max power of 194 bhp and a peak torque of 42.9 kgm. The Santa Fe offers a 2WD MT, 2WD AT and 4WD AT.

Honda Vezel

Santa Fe is more luxurious, opulent and comfortable than the Fortuner and it also feels more deserving for that kind of money. Fortuner has, undoubtedly, a charismatic appearance but we cannot just ignore the Santa Fe if you juxtapose the two. No matter how enormous the road presence is of the Fortuner, Hyundai Santa Fe is no less than a head turner. The LED DRLs on the Santa Fe is the new addition to its looks which is missing in the Fortuner.

It is a battle for glory. Both these machines are good at what they do and how they look. Eventually, it is the personal preference which matters. Either of them, the Fortuner and the Santa Fe, will not disappoint you at any point of time. You need power or you need comfort, you need attention or you just need to scare the hell out of anyone, all these qualities can be found on both these SUVs. But the Santa Fe, being the more modern than the Fortuner, has a slight bit of advantage here.

2014 toyota vios

Toyota Motor, being the global car leader and a celebrated premium sedan maker is eager to take a piece of this profitable C-segment of India. Unfortunately, though Toyota is a super seller in the global car markets, in India it is not that a phenomenal success. Even the world’s most favorite sedan, the Toyota Corolla sells less in India. However, Toyota Kirloskar Motors, the Indian representative of the Japanese auto major is recently very pleased with the great response that the recently launched all new 2014 Corolla sedan is getting in India.

However, now recently as per a report it is known that Toyota is working on a new mid-size sedan in order to fight it out with the likes of the extremely popular Honda City and the Hyundai Verna. The speculations also suggest that Toyota may bring the popular Vios sedan to India, while it may also consider developing an entirely new sedan based on its versatile Etios platform. If a new sedan is really based on the Etios platform, then Toyota will have a total 4 vehicles in the Etios family, as it already has the Etios sedan, Liva hatchback and the Etios Cross based on the same platform.

However, some sources argue that Toyota will just bring the Vios to the Indian C-segment and not a new car. The Vios will be placed below the Corolla in India as in the international markets and will become a capable competitor to the C-segment of India. Nevertheless, the report also says that the Toyota Vios will launch sometime around in 2017 which is far away.

The Toyota Vios can give a good fight to the City and the Verna in terms of looks, as it will be the most aggressive looking car in Toyota India’s line-up. The new Vios has its design cues borrowed from the all new Corolla and the new Camry.

The Vios will get an aggressive front face with huge air vents, LED DRLs and great styling features that make it a stunning looker. The Honda City is also a very stylish new sedan, while the Hyundai Verna has always been superbly stunning while preparing to be more stunning.

In terms of interiors, the Vios will be pretty premium and lavishly comfortable again as per the competition with the City and Verna. The Vios will also be a feature-rich sedan to be equal with its rivals.

Thus, if the Toyota Vios really lands up in the Indian car market, then we will have yet another great sedan from Toyota just below the superb Corolla.

Toyota Verso

The Toyota Verso is a compact MPV and it is in the international markets since 2009. Toyota Verso would be a tough competition for the Maruti Ertiga and Honda Mobilio. The Ertiga has been in the game for many years now and with time it has started looking outdated. On the other hand, the Honda Mobilio is just launched but as we all know that it is based on the platform of the Honda Brio and Honda Amaze, it also looks pretty much similar to them. It is a new vehicle but it just doesn’t feel to be one, if you ignore the size. Now, Toyota has an edge here. The Verso is something which we haven’t seen before in the Indian market. Toyota has Innova but it did not copy the looks of Innova and put it on some other car. The Verso is brand new for the Indians and would really be appreciated by us all.

Another good feature about the Verso is that Toyota had joined hands with the German auto maker, BMW, and it is the first company to power its compact MUV with a 1.4 litre D 4D diesel engine manufactured by BMW. For most of us, this fact is also an attractive point. This makes it sure that the Toyota Verso not only looks better but it will also perform better than the rest of the players of the segment. If you put all the three vehicles side by side and ask anyone to pick one, just based on the looks of the car, then it would be the Verso which would be picked up. It has that dynamic and new modern look which the Ertiga and the Mobilio lacks.

Maruti Suzuki Ertiga did well when it was launched and it sold in great numbers. It was a middle class family’s Innova. That was its impression. Honda Mobilio is a good MPV. It will attract buyers and they will be nothing less than satiated but the looks of the Mobilio are outdated. Toyota Verso, which hasn’t been launched yet, will definitely shatter its competition. Toyota has got a great weapon with itself right now. It now depends on how the Japs uses it. If Toyota manages to price the Verso with a mouth-watering price tag then it is going to whip the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and the Honda Mobilio. We do not know what Toyota is waiting for. Come on, Toyota. Do what you need to do!

Toyota Corolla 2014

Toyota has created heaps of magic with new Corolla Altis, it is a better looking model than its splendidly looking predecessor. The company has used its break through Furia concept. The front has a professionally sculpted trapezoidal grille with arty swept back Bi-Xenon head lights, and large front airdam.
