The competition was pretty intense from start to finish, in the introductory section, the 1^st round of EMR cup was won by Diljith and Arjun Narendran. A top company official of Toyota announced that the year 2012 was filled with excitement from its debut event at Delhi expo to exhibition events in Gurgaon and Chennai, and this event will be held overseas as well at Colombo night race scheduled for December.

EMR is an excellent platform for those who have a deep passion for motorcycle racing and want to make a career out of it. There were auditions for the event where young aspiring drivers have to undergo rigorous training and selection processes in many cities. A portion of training was conducted in dealerships in India for customers to study the details of Toyota models, and even experience the drive experience and be well equipped with the handling mechanisms of Toyota cars. The selection process was tough where twenty five EMR racers were selected to participate in this tournament, the top three drivers will be presented with an excellent opportunity to go international and participate in Vios tournament schedule for Thailand in 2013.
