The car economy in India is among the best in the world and was expected to be on par with China before the market scenario collapsed to an all time low. The vast network of cars in India is a strong proof to showcase India’s passion for car racing. Narain Karthikeyan has done India proud, with his spectacular racing skills, but this sport is not encouraged to the level of cricket in India.
Car racing sport should be encouraged at school and college levels, to create wider sport platform. It takes loads of skill and talent to participate in such events, especially during sharp turns. Indian’s are so passionate about this sport that most of them travel overseas to watch eminent Grand Prix events. Besides Buddh International circuit, Government should provide massive land acreages to construct many more racing tracks in India.
