Toyota Etios Motor Racing Trophy concludes with Diljith emerging winner

The Madras Motor Sports Club-Federation of Madras Sports Club (MSC-FMSCI) national racing championship has concluded its prestigious Toyota Etios Motor Racing Trophy conduced at Buddh International Circuit in Noida. The competition concluded on a positive note with Diljith emerging 1st championship of Toyota Etios Motor Racing event. The final leg of the event was conducted on September 14th and 15th. Akhil Rabindra bagged second position and the third position was grabbed by Varun Anekar.

The competition was pretty intense from start to finish, in the introductory section, the 1st round of EMR cup was won by Diljith and Arjun Narendran. Motorcycle enthusiasts had the opportunity to witness five segments of the competition. The final part was held in Chennai. Winners of all 4 races were rewarded with cash prize and trophy. Aspiring motorcycle racers, who have already emerged victorious in this event, will have the amazing opportunity to strengthen their skills in the international arena, and fight for the prestigious Toyota Vios Cup scheduled for Thailand.

This is an excellent initiative of Toyota Kirloskar Motor to push Motorcycle sport in India. India is recognized for its diversity in car design technology; this incredible variation comes from the country’s immense passion for cars. If this sport is pushed, then Indian talent will be recognized on a global scale. Narain Karthikeyan has taken the motorcycle sport in India by storm, but there are many more hidden talents out there.

Motorcycle sports requires loads of talent and skill especially during sharp turns, the main reason why this sport is not pushed to the level of cricket of tennis is the perception of it being competitive enough. Toyota besides building quality cars and catered to the needs and desires of the Indian population by encouraging motor racing. Etios Motor Racing Trophy is an excellent medium for budding motorcyclists to makes full use of their talent, and is the starting point for a full fledged career in this sport. The competition was held in four divisions and winners of all the events will now complete on an international scale for Toyota Vios Cup in Thailand and deliver their very best to land a permanent ticket in motorcycling.

Indian’s are so passionate about this sport that some even book an overseas ticket to watch some thrilling races such as Grand Prix. There are some risk elements with this sport as well, in terms of topple over’s that could result in injuries, but these are no longer worrying factors since Etios and other motor racing cars are built with incredible safety features, and helmets are tailored in such a way that there are interior cushions that prevent head injuries.

Ardent Toyota Etios fans will surely have a wail of a time driving the car, with absolutely no worries with respect to safety. The exterior is tailored with powerful shock absorbers that can withstand harsh collisions. There are a couple of airbags to protect the driver from frontal injuries; speedometer enables strong road focus at all times. The other beneficial safety features are traction control, ABS, keyless entry, immobilizer, door ajar warning and driver seat belt warning.
