Toyota corolla Altis has angular eye-shaped headlamp, sleek grille and front fog lamps. The eye-shaped headlamps consist of HID headlamps along with retractable washers and it also has turn indicators. The front grille has a two chrome bars in the petrol variants of the Corolla while it is simple chrome-less in its diesel variant. The outside rear view mirrors of the corolla are electrically adjustable and come with a turn indicators. The ORVMs and all skirts of the Corolla are in body colored while the door handles vary from body color to the chrome finish in its variants. Corolla has a 7 spoke alloy wheels, the rear view of the corolla is also stylish and tail lamp cluster also has brake light and a reverse light in it.
Hyundai Elantra has long stretched headlamps which are brilliant and attractive. The front grille has been improved and given a new look, and which affects the front end of the car in a positive way. The windscreen is also smooth and also features an effective rain sensing wipers to it. The ‘Hyundai’ logo has been placed in the centre of the grille, while the fog lamps are positioned on the front edge of the Elantra front lower end bumper. The side profile of the car looks has body colored door handles and the side view mirrors are electronically adjustable and are also in body color. Toyota corolla Altis is powered by a 1798 cc, with 4 cylinder, and 16 Valve, DOHC, VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing – intelligent) petrol engine which generates 140 PS of maximum power at 6400 rpm and 173 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. It has a 6 speed manual and 7 speed automatic transmissions. The Corolla Diesel is powered by a 1364 cc common rail D-4D diesel engine which generates 88.4 PS of maximum power at 3800 rpm and 205 Nm maximum torques at 1800-2800 rpm.
The Hyundai Elantra is powered by a 1.8-litre of VTVT petrol engine which produces 146bhp of maximum power and 181Nm of Torque. The diesel variant of Hyundai Elantra has a 1.6 litre of CRDI VGT diesel engine that generates 126bhp of maximum power and 265Nm of torque.
Both these sedans have been here in India for quite some time now and have proved their ability efficiency in the Indian roads.
