The all new Fortuner has the same Toyota’s signature grille with the logo sculptured in it the grille has lots of chrome in it. The headlamps look much sleeker than before the front bumper has the Fog lamps installed in it for better visibility at dark. There are air scoops at the hood of the SUV it is used for cooling the engine. The side profile of the SUV has 17 inch alloy wheels there is body colored electrically foldable ORVMs which has turn indicators integrated in them. There is also roof rail on the SUV which makes it look sportier. The rare of the SUV also looks stylish the tail lamps has clear lens which helps the driver to get good view from long distance.

Mahindra Scorpio is also a tough looking SUV. The SUV has sporty graphics which makes it even more stylish than any other SUVs. The front grille has body color and Mahindra badge fitted in it. The side profile of the SUV is simple and has body colored door handles and rear view mirrors. Toyota Fortuner is powered by a 3.0L, 2982cc, Direct Injection Common Rail Diesel engine which generates 168 bhp of peak power at 3600 rpm and 343 Nm of peak torque at 1400-3400 rpm. The turbo charger is cooled by the air that comes in through the air scoops.

Mahindra Scorpio is powered by a 2.2 L 2179cc MHawk engine which generates 120 bhp of maximum power at 4000 rpm and 290 Nm of maximum torque at 1800-2800 rpm. It has a 5 speed manual gearbox with it. Both these engines are meant for tough and meant for some heavy hauling. Fortuner has the bigger engine and the Scorpio does not lag behind.

Toyota Fortuner has a Dual Front SRS Airbags and it also has ABS with EBD for better braking. The safety of the Passengers has been kept in mind in the SUV along with its performance and looks. Mahindra Scorpio has also advanced safety features such as ABS (Anti lock Braking System) for better braking capability, Dual SRS Airbag for protection of the passengers in case of emergency.
