The Toyota Vios is one of Toyota’s luxurious cars, this car was showcased at the prestigious Shanghai Motor Show, and the car was earlier termed Yaris and also unveiled at the Bangkok motor show.
The Vios is a luxurious sedan positioned below the Corolla; the new model is embedded with a new design philosophy along with new revamped exterior features which portrays a classy and sophisticated appeal.

The company has not yet revealed information on the launch of new Vios. In India the Vios will be positioned between the Corolla and Etios and will compete with other powerful competitors of Honda City, Rapid and Verna. Toyota has unveiled its other soon to be launched models at the Shanghai Motor Show such as Alphard Welcab, New Yaris, FT-HT Yuejia and Yungdong Shaungging II.

The new Vios on the whole appears to be the perfect luxury car with a splendid design philosophy along with exclusive exterior and interior modifications. If the car has to compete with powerful models of Verna, Rapid and City which have been one of the best sellers for the Indian auto segment, the new Vios has the potential to attract buyers. In India, the desire to own luxury cars is at its peak with the earning power rising to new heights. The engine efficiency of the Vios is impressive with a 1.5 liter engine that can generate efficiency energy output of 107 Bhp.

The Vios has always been an appealing product in India, and the company has studied the change in the desires of Indian consumers to the core, with amazing new fitments and modifications in the new Vios. This is an excellent model especially during the current downslide in Indian car economy. In India Toyota was earlier working on developing the existing Etios and Etios Liva models to boost sales.
