Toyota is known for its great innovations and new futuristic concept cars. The Japanese car major is the world’s most selling car company and thus, always strives to offer the best in class and something different. Thus, now the company has come up with a car concept that can be assembled by the owners. This is really different indeed!

The global consumers are used to buying cars that are completely manufactured and assembled by the car companies and just require the payment to drive them home. However, the Toyota Camatte57 is very different from the pre assembled typical cars of the market. This concept car is a bit like a science project, or a toy car that needs some amount of assembly before it can serve the purpose of the consumers. The owners on the other hand, can derive the joy of assembling their very own car and also take the advantage of customizing it according to their own choice. Toyota unveiled this car at the Tokyo Toy Show this week.

This cool convertible comes along with 57 detachable light body panels that will allow the owner to easily customize his car according to his own choice. Meant to be used by the entire family and especially the youngsters, this car is a real car with the joy and fun of an assembled toy car. Toyota also hopes that this car will bring the children and their parents together, as they spend some quality time together in assembling this car. The Toyota Camatte57 gets its name from Camatte that literally means ‘care’ in the Japanese language and its 57 loose panels to be assembled.

The Toyota Camatte57 is that electric sports car that will bring joy and fun for the entire family, who can assemble the car and have a unique driving experience together. The vehicle can accommodate three passengers, while its interchangeable body panels allow the owners to mix and match then and create a fully customized look. The car’s centrally located driver’s seat and acceleration pedals can be adjusted for a child to drive the car, while the parents can help the children with the steering and brakes from the back seats of the car.

This really innovative car concept can really pump up car enthusiasm; however, Toyota has no recent plans to put this concept into real production. Toyota had also unveiled a similar car concept for the kids, at the International Tokyo Toy Show last year. The kid’s only car concept was also powered by an electric engine but it featured a lot lesser body panels, thus not allowing a lot of customization.

Toyota stated on the Camatte57 that this vehicle wishes to convey the joy and dreams of owning a vehicle to the current and future drivers by offering an opportunity for parents and children to come together and experience the fun of driving, customization and driving enthusiasm. Toyota is really pioneering in offering offbeat and environment friendly car concepts that can change the future of commutation.
