The world’s most selling car maker, Toyota Motor’s kitty is pretty full with several new cars and concepts for the world’s auto enthusiasts. As the global auto majors are all busy preparing their cars and concepts for the upcoming motor shows of the globe, so is Toyota. Although, the car makers are very protective about their new cars and do not reveal them to the public prior to the world premiers, some of the details manage to sneak out. Toyota is also guarding its upcoming Lexus RC F that is scheduled to debut at the 2013 Tokyo Auto Show. This new Lexus RC F is one of the most talked about cars at present.
The wait for the Toyota Lexus RC seems to be one of the most difficult things for the eager car enthusiasts all over the world, as this car promises to be really futuristic and powerful. There are huge amounts of rumors building up around this particular model might be actually making this car larger than life. As there is still sometime left before the Tokyo Motor Show actually takes place later this year, the amount of speculations are going to be sky high. According to the current speculations, the Lexus RC F is going to be powered by an engine that would generate a whopping 455 Horsepower.
Unbelievable it may sound, but as per reports till now it is said that the top trim model of the Lexus RC F will have a 5.0 liter V8 engine under its hood that is expected to have the capability to churn out the maximum power output of 455 Horsepower. Though this is yet not confirmed and there are no announcements regarding this from Toyota’s side, it is expected that the Japanese car leader is all prepared to give tough competition to the BMW M4 in the form of the Lexus Lexus RC F.
Moreover, this new car from the house of Toyota is more than just a powerhouse, as there are more speculations regarding its carbon fiber body panels. The other rumors include that the Lexus RC F’s awesome engine will be mated to an eight speed transmission gearbox and the car will offer super handling capabilities that are inspired by LFA handling. Given such outstanding qualities, the Lexus RC F is really expected to be super car of the contemporary times and this should not come as a surprise as Toyota is a master innovator.
If these were not enough, the new Lexus RC F is also expected to feature special rear suspension, Sachs monotube shock absorbers, updated coil springs and stabilizers, a special Dynamic Handling system, 19” BBS alloy wheels and advanced Brembo brake system. The starting price tag of the RF C is expected to be around $100,000.
As far as the regular Lexus RC is concerned, the car is reported to be offered in 3 engine options of 2.0 liter turbocharged, 3.5 liter V6 and a hybrid 2.5 liter engine, with a starting price of about $40,000.
