Toyota Kirloskar Motor is all set to launch the new facelift model of the Innova in India. The new refreshed Innova is expected to hit the markets in days’ time and the company has already told its dealership outlets to clear off the current model’s inventory and make way for the new model. Toyota is expected to offer the new Innova to the Indian auto consumers from early October and make the most of the festive season.

We had mentioned earlier that apart from providing cosmetic changes and additional features to the revamped Innova, Toyota is also going to introduce a new high-end ‘Z’ trim that will be much more premium and will obviously come along with all its bells and whistles. The refreshed range of Innova models in India could also mean that it will come with a dearer price tag for the Indian consumers, as a facelift does require considerable investment from the auto maker.

As the spying cameras are always busy having a sneak peek at the new or refreshed upcoming cars about to hit the market, the new Toyota Innova’s all new ‘Z’ trim has also been reportedly spotted at an unnamed dealership stockyard.

As for the new looks of the new refreshed Innova, the Japanese car major has decked up the vehicle with a bigger chrome finished front grill, a more intensely detailed bonnet along with stylish chrome accented bright fog lights. All these make for a more aggressive looking front fascia. The side profile of the new Innova is absolutely same as before except the new graphics on its doors. As for the rear design of the vehicle, the new Innova have the similar tail lamps as well as rear bumper. The vehicle also comes with a stylized chrome strip running above the number plate as well as reflector strips.

When it comes to the new top trim level ‘Z’ model, Toyota has enriched it with a brand new infotainment system. This new infotainment system comes along with a LCD touch screen along with multimedia compatibility with iPod, USB port as well as CD and AUX. However, still now there are no more details or proper pictures of the India specification of the new facelift Innova, but it is not expected to be much different that the Indonesian counterpart.

Toyota has not changed the mechanical specifications of the new Innova in the Indonesian market and the same is expected for the Indian car market as well. The facelift Innova will be powered by the same tried and tested 2.5 liter D-4D diesel mil that churns out the maximum power of 102PS and a peak torque of 200Nm.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has already increased the prices of all its major models in India including the Innova range, which has come into effect from 21^st of September, 2013. The Innova prices have increased by Rs.7000 to Rs.11000 depending on the various trims. Whether or not the new refreshed Innova will have a yet costlier tag, will be known only post its launch.
