Toyota to present loads of surprises along with Open top 86 at Johannesburg Motor show

Being the world’s largest auto maker, Toyota always tries to be in the limelight with its various new and innovative car offerings. The Japanese car major makes the most of the world’s motor shows to wow the car enthusiasts with its new and enticing products and concepts. The car maker also has something very special under its sleeves for the upcoming Johannesburg International Motor Show and this is confirmed by a company official.

Toyota’s South African entity is gearing up to entice the car audience at the Johannesburg International Motor Show that is scheduled for 18th of October, 2013. The general manager of marketing at Toyota South Africa, GM Kerry Rood said that the company has a few cars that it will like to keep under the wraps till it is the show time. However, the company can at least reveal that the FT-86 Open Concept car that debuted at this year’s Geneva Motor Show will be officially debuting for the very first time on the African terrain.

This great stylish concept car is a preview to a new convertible variant of the Toyota 86. The concept showcases the car’s stunning features including an electrically operated fabric hood as well as rear seats though really cramped up. The FT-86 Open Concept car’s cabin design was created by a designer based in Milan. The car flaunts a unique and sporty high-contrast white and navy blue body paint scheme that according to the company further enhances the car’s proportions.
