Now, the company is working towards the successful realization of the ultimate green dream technology of Fuel Cell that is expected to be successfully launched in 2015. However, Toyota is definitely not stopping just here, as the company is obviously working on multiple projects churning out a lot more futuristic concepts. Some these new concepts are to be features at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show that began on 20th of November. This new wonder car concept is Toyota new single seater EV known as the FV2 or Fun Vehicle 2 concept. This amazing vehicle really shows how amazingly different the future commutation system can be. It is packed with such superb features and abilities that one can say it is build for some superhero straight out of the comic book. The first and foremost thing about this concept vehicle that strikes the audience is its color changing power. Not only that, Toyota claims that the vehicle can change its body color and set it according to the mood of its rider. This is a delightful feature, as it displays an ideal man-machine relationship. The vehicle detects the driver’s mood by scanning his/her facial expressions. The EV is also able to change its color matching its surroundings and the owner can even change the body of the vehicle to a preferred color as and when desired. Moreover, the vehicle is also able to send color alerts to the oncoming vehicles in a blind spot.
This color changing mechanism is created with the help of a pop up wide windscreen that acts as an LCD display. Similar customizable LCD surface also covers the FV2’s rear. The raised windscreen also offers information regarding the road and traffic condition, weather and many more.
The Toyota FV2 also does not have a steering wheel and runs only depending on the drivers body weight shift. Thus, the driver simply needs to lean towards the intended direction to steer the EV. Moreover, one can drive this vehicle even while standing. The vehicle is meant for only one person but has four wheels for balance control.
Well, this vehicle surely seems to be a perfect match for Robocop or Batman, but don’t forget that this is all about the future mobility system and many wonders will happen in the future.
