Toyota has recently launched the much awaited Etios Cross; it is available in petrol and diesel variants. A new Cross car sounds interesting, Toyota Etios Cross is a cross variant of Etios Liva a popular hatchback. It is also a sportier version of Liva. The cross identity is highlighted by the presence of silver and black body cladding, the other signature features are silver finished bull bar and silver roof rail. The other unique attribute of Etios Cross different from Liva hatch are new fog light cluster.
The diesel car is fitted with D4D 1.4 liter engine that produces 68 bhp, and the petrol cars move on 1.5 and 1.2 liter engines, that churns 89 and 79 bhp power. Sitting inside a new Cross is a rare fun adventure, customers can be guaranteed of optimum safety with EBD and ABS.
Etios Cross is enriched with a grand piano black inner décor; there are heaps of comfort and entertainment to look forward to. There is a world class 2Din music system with USB, Aux-in and Bluetooth connectivity. The interiors resemble the forthcoming Fiat Punto Adventure Crossover and Volkswagen Cross Polo. The car is sold in eight shades such as Vermilion Red, White, Harmony Beige, Classic Grey, Celestial Black, Symphony Silver, Classic Grey, Ultramarine Blue and Inferno Orange.
The steering is wrapped in fine leather; the cabin room is exceptionally spacious in rear and front compartment. The driver’s seat has height adjustment facilities. The boot volume is 251 liters
A new Cross product is exclusive, because of its rare new stature, Etios Cross has many interesting attributes that makes it stand out in a crowd. The first sight of inspiration likes in black plastic cladding, the other interesting features are diamond shaped 15 inch alloy wheels, spoiler, blackened B pillar, skid plates, roof rails and artistically carved front grille.
It is the cladding that makes the Etios Cross look different from Liva, the variation is not just limited to appearance, but dimension as well. It is 45mm taller, 40mm wider and 120mm lengthier than Liva. Toyota launched the car few days ago, and has already received many glares.
The price of the base petrol G car is Rs 5.76 lakhs, and the high end V model costs Rs 7.35 lakhs. The diesel car is rolled out at an initial price of Rs 6.90 lakhs and the high-end model costs Rs 7.4 lakhs.
Etios Cross is a fascinating car, because it sports a different design and customers will surely want to explore the pleasures of new car designs. The intriguing elements to look forward to are silver and black plastic cladding, silver roof rails and bull bar. Driving the Etios Cross is like riding a formula one sports car.
