The new Corolla Altis is a huge launch, the Indian division of the reputed Japanese firm; Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) lately launched the new Corolla for starting price of Rs 11.99. The car stole the show to the core at 2014 Auto Expo. Corolla is a globally acclaimed car; the new piece is the eleventh gen model. There are lot of variants to choose from, five petrol and four diesel model. The price structure of the petrol model is Rs 11.99 to 16.89 lakhs and the diesel car costs Rs 13 to 16.68 lakhs.

On the launch of the grand new Corolla, the managing director of TKM Naomi Ishii said, ‘’Corolla is the most appreciated car in the world, it is the number one brand with over 40 million vehicles rolled out all over the world. We are delighted to launch the 11th gen car.
TKM has made great fortunes with Corolla; over 88,500 pieces of the car are sold in the country, since its first arrival in 2003. The senior vice president in marketing and sales section of the company N Raja said, ‘’we are hopeful that new Corolla Altis will strengthen our brand value to a new level, and also yield impressive growths in C segment. ‘’
The great fortune story of Corolla spans for many years, its’ first arrival into the world was in 1966. Over forty years have passed, and even today every one in five vehicles sold is Corolla. It is a global best seller with a profit value that goes past 22.65 million pieces. Since 2002, over a million models of Corolla have been sold.
A new Corolla launch is exhilarating, and it is a greater source of fascination, the car is said to be more premium than the earlier piece. It looks more appealing than its predecessor. To spark greater attraction Toyota has used good amount of chrome and robust LED lights. The 2015 eleventh gen Corolla has professionally styled swept back headlights moulded into arty dual barrel structures. The front grille has chunks of glossy chrome, and the back looks pretty pristine. Nothing has changed on engine front, the 2015 Corolla Altis will run on 1.4 litre diesel D4 D and 1.8 litre petrol VVTi power train. The diesel engine will yield 90PS and 140PS and is coupled to six speed manual gearbox. The petrol car will manoeuvre on seven speed CVT gearbox.
The interiors too spark greater excitement; customers will be shocked beyond words once they step into the car. The primary source of excitement lies in touch screen infotainment system. The inner décor is grand, the royal black and beige theme sparkles like never before. The cabin room is vastly spacious contributed by the increased length. The new Corolla is 100mm lengthier than its predecessor. The rear legroom volume is elongated as well, to encounter superior comfort, there back seats have reclining facilities.
