It’s got the looks and power to rock rural markets, the rural market is not the main profit driving sector of TKM, only a portion of profits comes from this sector, and the goal now is to elevate the profit output to a new level with double digit profits.

As mentioned earlier it is a challenge to push rural sales, and is not as economically feasible as urban quarters. Toyota has formatted a profit driving and creative approach. It has enrolled in a village program that organized road shows with the vision to promote service and quality. There are over 250 Toyota dealerships all over India, and the firm aims to construct many more dealerships in the near future.

TKM is an integral component of the Indian auto segment, and is analyzing various strategies to elevate its market share. The international model of the Rush is powered by a 1.5 litre, 4 cylinder petrol engine which churns out a max power of 109 PS at 6000 rpm and generates a peak torque of 141 Nm at 4400 rpm. Toyota has also made available choices for the transmission system, a 5 speed manual or a 6 speed automatic transmission. Some safety features which are available on the international variant of Toyota Rush includes ABS, EBD and safety Airbags.

We expect the Toyota Rush to fall in the price bracket of Rs 8-12 lakhs (Ex showroom) and we hope Toyota will not keep us longing too much for its Rush and launch it sooner than we’re expecting. Sometimes it is good to be a bit late in order to attract attention. But if you get too late then it becomes annoying and you’d be disliked rather than welcomed with open arms and smiles.

It won’t be as mighty or costly as the Toyota Fortuner and will be targeted at people looking for a large comfortable UV to drive around. This new product is the Toyota Rush SUV. Inside you get decent level of equipment though they are laid out in a very conservative manner just like you would expect on a Toyota. It is available in 6 or 7 seater configurations. It gets a 3 spoke steering wheel which looks nice. The instrument cluster is easy to read. All the controls are easily accessible to the driver and have been placed after lot of thought.

Powering this engine is a 1500 cc DOHC engine using the Toyota VVT-I technology. It develops an impressive 110 bhp which is plenty to pull this SUV effortlessly. If this SUV makes it to Indian market, they might have to add the option of a diesel engine as well. The Toyota Fortuner is coming with a smaller engine option of 2.5 liter. This one might get an even smaller engine, maybe the one from Etios in a different state of tune. If it makes it here, it will compete against the likes of popular Mahindra Scorpio and Tata Safari. The brand value and customer satisfaction would definitely put this product above the rivals.

The Avanza has got sport exteriors with sharp curves. The grille of the car is chrome finished and the headlight is attractive. The bumper at the front has an exclusive design and the sides of the bumper have fog lights. Wipers at front and rear are distinctly stylish. The door handles, rear view mirror and spoiler add a classy touch to the car. The alloy wheels provided in the car are o 15 inches which improves the look and make it sportier. The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado’s face-lifted version is also launched in India.  Toyota Kirloskar Motors, the Indian arm of the Japanese automaker, unveiled the latest edition of this plush SUV which comes at a price tag of Rs. 84. 87 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi price).

The Land Cruiser Prado comes in five exciting colors- Black, Dark Blue Metallic, Grey Metallic, Silver Metallic and White Pearl Crystal Shine. Toyota has given a major facelift to the Prado. The facelift version of this luxuriant land cruiser features a redesigned bumper, grille, LED headlamps, fog lamps, daytime running lights, rear combination lamp as well as a license plate embellishment at the rear.

Additionally, this luxury SUV from Toyota is also armed with the crawl control feature that helps the driver to control braking and accelerating on substandard surfaces. This Corolla is made available in diesel as well as petrol variants. The petrol variant is expected to deliver 138bhp, 1.8 litre VVT-I engine and diesel engine will be powered with 1.4 litre D-4D turbo engine which delivers 87bhp of power. The diesel variant will be mated with six speed manual gearbox and gives amazing power.

Similar to Innova, Fortuner is expecting a Facelift too; it has been launched in Indonesian market and will be seen in India soon. The ordinary model of the Fortuner will be given with an LED strip which behave dynamically during the daytime. The new Fortuner will have chrome grille, stylish alloy wheels and skirts on bumpers. The cabin has a new entertainment system along with a DVD player inside.

The upgraded interiors just do fine which includes a new dashboard, upholstery and new cluster and it is an additional improvement. The braking system will be more effective, we can expect. Toyota has worked a lot and with extra effort it has enhanced the fuel efficiency of the Corolla. The CVTi-S system in the Toyota Corolla having auto transmission is introduced to consume lesser fuel in order to improve the performance.
