The Etios Live comes with the two variants in petrol and diesel versions. The petrol version has a powerful 1197cc displacement engine that can produce a peak torque and power of 104Nm and 80ps @ 5600 rpm. While the diesel variant comes with a powered 1364cc displacement engine that has the ability to produce an ample power of 68bhp @ 3800 rpm at the maximum and also produces a torque of 170Nm @ 1800-2400 rpm at its peak. The mileage is calculated to be as 18.3kmpl for the petrol version and 23.59kmpl for the diesel version.

The car is 5-speed manual transmission car for the LPG version and 5-speed manual and automatic for the petrol version. The car is powered with a 1.1 Liter 1086cc displacement IRDE engine which is a very capable engine of delivering an output power and torque of 69Ps @ 5500rpm at the maximum and 10.1kgm @ 4500rpm. The bigger 1.2 kappa engine displacement of 1197cc produces a maximum power and power 80Ps @ 6000rpm and 11.4kgm @ 4000rpm.
