Toyota Motor, being the world’s largest auto manufacturer sure knows how to produce immense things. The Japanese auto major has already successfully manufactured ten million powertrains (engines, transmissions) at its engine plant located at West Virginia. And the global leader is now celebrating after manufacturing a billion horsepower that can generate enough power to destroy the planet’s ecosystem. However, Toyota looks forward to building a safer and eco-friendly commuting system and thus, promises to use the immense horsepower only for good causes.
Toyota Motor posses a massive engine production facility which is located in the small town of Buffalo, in West Virginia. This Toyota engine factory has 1,300 employees who are devoted singularly on building engines and transmissions. All these Toyota engine plant workers have been working so diligently, that they have succeeded in manufacturing 10 million of powertrain units. This is the first time ever that any Toyota production facility outside Japan has ever built such massive numbers of units. This plant is so efficient in producing great numbers of engine units that in every twenty seconds that a Toyota model rolls out of an assembly unit of the company in the United States, it comes accompanied with one of the West Virginia manufactured powertrains.
If that was not enough, apart from manufacturing such huge numbers of powertrains, the super busy workers have had the tenacity to do yet another task, which involves producing one billion horsepower.
It does sound very incredible indeed but it is true and someone like the largest auto company of the world can only do so. To put it simple terms, a billion horsepower is approximately equal to about one tenth of the power that is created by our planet earth when it spins around on its axis once. Thus, in case Toyota wishes to show off its power and use the horsepower that its engine plant in West Virginia plant has produced to counter act the earth’s force then our precious planet would stop spinning in a matter of ten days which will have a devastating effect.
However, the auto leader has no plans to use its immense horsepower against the very mother earth and assures that it will use this power only for good causes. Toyota wishes to use the horsepower to help people to commute with dependable and easy to maintain cars. Toyota believes in the notion of the amount of responsibility that comes along with great power and thus claims to be working hard on producing eco-friendly cars, and if the maker really creates the production version of the ME:WE concept car, it might as well prove its promise to help the world’s eco system.
Toyota has also donated $32,500 to 13 area schools in Putnam, Mason, Cabell and Kanawha counties in WV to celebrate their billion horsepower on top of a $5,000 donation already made to Buffalo High School for tree-planting Arbor Day activities, to prove that the company means no harm to the planet earth.
