The month of April this year witnessed the sixth month of continuous sale decline in India which interestingly is the lengthiest downfall in the history of sale in the domestic auto industry. The sale influx and exit is determined by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers since the period of 1998. Toyota Kirloskar Motor is one of the established firms to experience a dip in sales.

There was a 10.43% decline in auto sale in April this year with a profit turnover of 150,789 segments. According to estimate from industry statistics, the future months will not yield productive outcomes. With the continuous trend of slow economy pick up, the sale outflow will remain at an all time low with the hurdles of peak monsoons and superior interest rates.

The Indian car segment in India has been observing downslides since Diwali which was celebrated in November last year, and the industry hasn’t picked up since then. Auto majors are formulating strategies to increase sales through exchange offers, discounts and so on, but these methods have not been too effective in gathering herds of customers into showrooms.

In April this year, the sale outcome of Toyota Kirloskar Motor was on a negative scale. There were just six auto biggies which have recorded increase in sales such as Renault India, Mahindra and Mahindra and Maruti Suzuki being some of the profit players for the Indian industry. Toyota Kirloskar Motor has been working on improving the dynamics of its Etios Liva models; the company has recently launched the Sportivo model with significant sporty enhancements. The Innova is another powerful build of Toyota which has contributed heaps of profits to the company; the Innova is an ideal family car and is a popular element on road.

Toyota with other auto companies are vouching for positive outcomes from the reduction in petrol prices which has occurred recently. The lessening of petrol prices could hopefully uplift sales to admirable levels. The petrol prices have increased during the past few months which has drifted consumer fuel desires into the diesel segment. Small car makes of Maruti Suzuki registered an increase in sale output this year. The sale of the successful small car segments such as WagonR, Alto and Eon have incurred an increase in sale influx to the company with 47,800 volumes compared to 44,380 volumes during the same period last year.
This has been a turbulent phase for a major chunk of auto companies; the shocking aspect is this period has registered the longest dip in sales since the festive Diwali period. The figures have not improved in spite of companies trying out effective methods to increase sales.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has manufactured stunning luxurious cars; the Corolla Altis is one of the major power players due to its remarkable exterior frame and powerful engine. The Liva models have also contributed heaps of profits to the company. The company has noted over 30% decline in sales, which is one of the highest reductions ever.
