The latest Corolla car to be launched by Toyota in 2014 will be its 11^th generation model and was recently showcased in Detroit Auto Show. The new evolved Toyota Corolla 2014 has latest navigational applications combining 6 inch touch screen and backup camera to help the driver stay connected in remote areas too. As a part of its safety feature, driver and front passenger have been provided airbags in the front and sides while rear passengers are given airbags within side curtains and seat cushions. This all round protection is to ensure passengers are covered from all sides in case of crash impact. The Toyota Corolla 2014 will be available in four trims namely (L, LE, LE ECO and S) among which the LE ECO will have a high mileage engine. This car is a visual delight with sculpted headlamps, flared fenders and flat underbody giving it a sweeping appearance. It appears like this because few changes have been made to its exterior increasing both its wheelbase and body length by 3.9 inches. This increased length has increased interior space leading to more legroom for second row passengers. Auto analysts prefer the Toyota Corolla 2014 model’s ‘S’ trim version due to 15-17 inch large wheels and closeout panels below the underbody providing improved aero efficiency. To increase comfort of driver and passengers denser foam pads have been added to provide thigh, lumbar and lateral support. All four variants of the Toyota Corolla will have 1.8 liter VVTi four-cylinder engine for petrol and 1.4 liter for diesel engine. To improve power of both variants the car has been provided with electric power steering which is expected to increase efficiency by almost 5 percent. A pleasant change about the new Toyota Corolla is its peaceful interiors which has been made possible by acoustic windscreen, improved floor and fender insulation combined with silencer pad on the dashboard. The most attractive feature about this car is that all its trims are available in multiple colors and textures along with trademark blue backlight on their dashboard. To provide it sportier looks the Toyota Corolla 2014 has a wide three bar grille in chrome with a lower bumper grille. For the Indian market Corolla’s interiors will designed in light beige.
