Japanese firms in India are encouraging and promoting Indians to higher positions, Toyota Kirloskar Motor, a reputed Indian firm has allotted higher positions to Sandeep Singh who was in charge of marketing, customer service and sales to the levels of COO and MD and Shekar Viswanathan who earlier was designated with MD position is now given the position of vice chairman.

Other reputed Japanese subsidiary firms such as Panasonic India are promoting Indian’s to top notch designations. Daizo ito who is the president of the company says that he allots most of his time to study the business scenarios and customer culture in the country. Manish Sharma is now designated with MD position and will be in charge of electronic operations in India.
