In India, July was the month when many new big players entered the market arena with their new products. Some were fresh models; some of them were upmarket versions of their previously successful models. It seemed like everybody wanted to try their luck into the fast growing market and arrived with their cars with some exclusive features. And those cars ranging from the compact SUVs to high end luxury cars, there was quite a variety in the new launches. Hyundai launched its mass favourite and highly anticipated and awaited Creta and Honda arrived with the stylish and classy Jazz while in the luxury segment, BMW marked its presence with luxury models such as X3 and X6. And further more the race for the top spot in the market continues as in up and coming months Chevy’s Spin and Trailblazer are coming to mark their dominance. It seems like Indian car market is quite a hit among the premier car companies across the world.
Like July, August will also be seeing a lot of new launches. The four cars ready to be launched in August 2015 are mentioned below.
FORD FIGO ASPIRE- Priced around 5.30 lakh to 7.50 lakh rupees, this is Ford’s first attempt at a compact Sedan car. The looks of it has been praised widely and also the features and the specs it is laced with. The top end trim will come with ESP, TCS, 5 airbags and the hill launch assist. Safety features are based on American standards, the home country of Ford. Bookings for the car are on a roll already and the official launch will take place sometime in the second week of august.
MARUTI SUZUKI S-CROSS- Considered as the top competitor of Hyundai’s Creta, S cross is a premium crossover ready to start selling from the 5th of August. However, the exteriors is not as much talked about as the 1.6 litre diesel engine churning out a peak torque of 320 Nm. The car has been laced with some quite fascinating features in the inside while the exterior is illuminated by the presence of projector headlamps and DRLs. Maruti’s premium dealership NEXA will carry the responsibility of selling the car to the Indians and is said to be the next big step in car dealership proving high end facilities to the consumers.
ABARTH 595 COMPETITIONIZE- The car launching on the 4th of August, just as its name, will give the established companies a tough competition. This is an Italian performance brand famous for the insane performance its engine churns out, that is 158 bhp. The car is expected to hypnotize Indians with the sporty interiors; retro design, big racing wheels and the crazy growl.
ERTIGA FACELIFT- The popular MPV from the Maruti Suzuki family is getting a modification and has been seen quite a lot of times spy testing around the Indian roads. New bumper and additions to the grille makes it quite a charmer while the MPV is expected to hit the dealerships around 20th August.
