The upcoming Toyota Avanza is making lot of news with its great looks and features. Toyota dominated the MPV market for so long with the top of the line MPV the Innova. Now recently the Nissan launched their new MPV recently to get a grip on the MPV market in India.
Toyota Avanza has stylish exteriors just like the Innova and includes a sporty and stylish grille at the front with the Toyota badge at the middle of it, it also has body colored bumpers the headlamps is multi reflector type and provides maximum illumination at the dark it also has round fog lamps attached at the front bumper . The side it has a body colored rear view mirror but its most probably going to be manually operated. The car also has a rear spoiler and wiper. The tail lights are vertically placed. It has a simple looking and sleek rear bumper to give a finishing touch to the car.
Nissan Evalia has a stylish front grille with the Nissan badge at the middle of it and also has some chrome to it, the front headlamps are very small compared to its size and does not provide de4scent amount of illumination at the dark. The front bumper has air intake to keep the diesel engine warm and it also has fog lamps to it. The side profile of this MPV is the most stylish the glass windows at the side looks stylish and up market. The rear of the MPV has a high mounted stop lamps and a big windscreen at the back.
Toyota Avanza interiors are very stylish neatly designed and spacious the dashboard of the Avanza is fitted with AC vents and with storage boxes there is a four spoke steering wheel but that does not have any mounted audio controls in it. There are arm rest and bottle holders inside the cabin. There is enough space inside the car it has descent leg and head room. There is enough boot space inside the MPV the rear seats can be folded to make bigger boot space.
Nissan Evalia has a spacious interiors too there is descent amount of head and leg room space inside the MPV. The car has average quality plastic material inside it, the dashboard has many features to it, there are many indication lamps for the knowledge of the driver, the Ac works well too but the last passenger seat does not have AC vents on both side of the passenger that can be bit problematic because the last row windows are not big enough and the passengers can feel a bit claustrophobic inside.
Toyota Avanza will have a 4 cylinder, DHOC, 16-valve and VVTi 1495cc engine with 5-speed transmission which generates 109 PS at 6,000 rpm and 141 Nm at 4,400 rpm. Nissan Evalia is powered by 1.5 litre of K9K DCI four cylinder 1461cc CRDi engine which generates 85bhp at 3750rpm and 200Nm of Torque at 1900rpm.
Toyota Avanza excels Nissan Evalia in the style and looks factor and its interiors are much more comfortable than the Evalia. So if someone wants a big family car for themselves they have to decide wisely which car to choose from.
