Camry is a highly executive saloon car from the Toyota’s stable. Lancer is another stylish premium sedan launched by Mitsubishi. Let us compare these two sedans.
Toyota Kirloskar Motors have launched their sophisticated sedan with the name Camry. Look wise, Camry can easily persuade any car lover to think once to buy it. The front end of the car has bold chrome finished grille with multiple chrome slats running horizontally. In the middle, there rests the chrome finished logo of Toyota. The headlamps and the multi reflector projector have a unique rectangular shape. These lamps come with auto leveling technique. The fog lamps are small but have stylish chrome rims around them. The OVRMs of this sedan have integrated LED indicators. The bumper has edgy and sporty curves. The presence of moon roof further enhances the look of the car.
Mitsubishi Lancer is a premium sedan. Its exteriors are bold and dynamic. The car sports a rectangular headlamp with turn indicator at its side which looks simple yet stylish. The car has a body coloured bumper, door handles and OVRMs. The front grille of the car looks aggressive with chrome finished slats that are placed vertically. The car has a roof antenna. It also has high mounted tail lamps at its rear.
The Toyota Camry has lavish interior. The cabin’s front has the intelligent Optitron meter display which gives all the details related to driving. It includes fuel economy, average driving speed, cruising range and flawless clarity. The power steering has audio controls mounted on them. Lancer has a beautiful interior too. It has been packed with a lot of new features. The dashboard of the car comes in dual tone colour which makes the car look more stylish. This car has an advanced instrument cluster also which helps the driver with all the required information while driving. The car has comfortable fabric upholstery. The steering wheel of this car has leather covering. The seats are adjustable and comfortable with armrests.
Toyota have powered Camry with 2.4L powerful DOHC VVT-i petrol engine which generates a maximum power of 164.7bhp at the rate of 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 224Nm at the rate of 4000 rpm. Mitsubishi Lancer has been powered with 1.5L, 1468cc, four cylinder petrol engine which produces a maximum power of 87 Ps and a maximum torque of 13.5Kgm.
Both these sedans, namely Toyota Camry and Mitsubishi Lancer excel in their properties. But if considered between these two, then Toyota Camry has a lot of advantage over Mitsubishi Lancer. This is because a car, especially a sedan has to be comfortable and interesting enough from its interiors too apart from its exterior.
