It was a matter of very pleasure when the launch of Etios Liva was announced by Toyota. The company was quite anxious while manufacturing this car because for the first time they had launched a low ranged model. This car has created a benchmark for affordability in India. The price of this hatchback was cut without hampering the reputation of the company. To make the car within the budget, adjustments have been made in such places where one cannot even notice. On the other hand, Fiat has launched its premium hatchback Punto in the Indian market. This car has been made with the joint venture of the Fiat and Tata Motors. With the launch of this car, the company is making its position strong in the market. The exterior of these hatchbacks are being compared.
The exterior of Etios Liva has been made attractive and well balanced with a wheelbase of 2460 mm which means quite high. The body of the car has sharp curves. The bonnet of the car has creases which can be identified easily. The car has been decorated with small lights and a tame bumper which has integrated fog lamps. The lower half of the doors at the sides has up-sweeping crease. These creases are so elegant that it makes the car look different from the other cars. The rear portion of the car looks like the typical hatchback and has a good boot space. If the front radiator grille along with the headlamps seems like that of the smiling face of a human being with two dimples. The upper grille of the car is chrome finished and the lower portion of the car is painted in black. The OVRMs and the door handles come in body colour. The car has a roof antenna.
The exterior of Punto is stylish and dynamic. The car follows a fluidic design. It has chrome finished aggressive mesh type grille at its front. It has a flawless design which also provides it a bold look. The front is low slung and the body of the car is compact. The car has muscular frame along with arches which makes it a very solid looking car. The rear has a curvy nature which looks beautiful. The car has 15 inches alloy wheels. The headlamps are large and have clear lens. The side mirrors and the door handles come in body colour. The body colour bumpers houses the fog lamps. The car further has a roof antenna. The car is 3,987mm in length, 1,687mm in width and thus it makes the car a standard one. The height of the car remains 1,495mm and the wheelbase of the car is 2510mm in size.
In between the Toyota Etios Liva and Fiat Punto, Toyota Etios Liva is a better option as a hatchback. This is so because Toyota Etios Liva is an outstanding car with a very cool exterior than that of Fiat Punto.
