Toyota Fortuner can be called the king of the road because it has massive size and muscular looks. The SUV has a Toyota signature grille and also has chrome treatment to it and can be recognized from a long distance, the SUV has projector headlamps which enables the driver to get a better view of the road at night. Fortuner is powered by a massive 3.0L, 2982cc, diesel engine which generates 168 bhp at 3600 rpm and 343 Nm torque at 1400-3400 rpm. Grand Vitara is powered by a 2.4 litre, 2393cc engine which generates maximum power of 163.5 bhp and 224 Nm of Torque at 4,000 rpm.

Although Fortuner is powered by a diesel and Grand Vitara is powered by a petrol engine so the advantage of Fortuner is more because it has a bigger engine and thus it is more powerful than the Grand Vitara. The Fortuner has more space inside than the Grand Vitara and thus is a clear winner amongst the two.
