The Mercedes GL class SUV made its debut in 2006 and the new and much more modified version was launched in 2012. New model is bigger, more luxurious and full of tech gadgets. Even though that the new X166 model is bigger than its predecessors its lighter enough. It has a wheelbase of 3705mm with the length, width and height of 5120mm, 2141mm and 1850 mm respectively (much bigger than the Toyota LC200). It is equipped with the 4-wheel Electronic Tracking System (4W-ETS) which continuously monitors the wheels for slippage. It is equipped with a panoramic roof which protects the passengers from high intensity sunrays. It is a much more improvised version than its previous class. The rear and front bumpers are guarded by high quality stainless steel skid plates. The headlights are incorporated with bi-Xenon lamps. Further the aluminum roof is polished meticulously to maintain the style of the car.
