The Japanese car major Toyota Kirloskar Motors had launched the superior mid – sized sedan with the name Corolla Altis. It is perhaps the most successful model so far by the company. The looks of the car is same as that of the executive while it still sheds a lot of luxury. This sedan has a very excellent road performance too. It is considered to be the blend of style and technology. Since Toyota names its cars in the names of the crown, Corolla also means crown in Latin. Corolla comes both in petrol and diesel variants. Chevrolet Sail on the other hand is a very fuel efficient sedan launched by the General Motors. Sail looks beautiful too as it has been made with very care and concern. Each of its part has been built beautifully so that the overall look of the car stand out from the crowd. Let us compare the interiors of these two stylish sedans.
The interior of Corolla Altis looks classic and also ultra – modern. Starting from its cabin till the rear seat, every single thing speaks of the creativity. The steering wheel is electronically powered with audio controls mounted on it. This very four spoke steering wheel comes covered in leather as well as wooden finish. The multi information display has the switch and the cruise controls that come handy. The overall cabin has been finished with wood and elegant flooring and seats which are covered in leather also. The dashboard of the cabin looks very nice with the audio system which is also wooden finished. The meter console is the Optitron 3D for the better view. Both ends of the dashboard houses the rectangular shaped AC vents. The rear view mirror is automatic anti-glare type. The driver’s seat is revolving and can be adjusted in 8 ways. The height of the same seat can also be adjusted. Corolla’s seats come with security. The dashboard comprises of two layered glove box also. there are vanity mirrors with lamp also. The rear seat has armrest at its centre.
The interior of the Sail has been arranged vividly. The cabin flaunts the twin cockpit design of an airplane. The central control panel is modern and comprises of the CD player/MP3 interface. The dashboard of the car comes clad in dual tone shades. The upper part of the dash has been painted with the black colour and the lower part comes in dim cream colour. In front of both the front seats there are two glove boxes also. Sail comes with a colorful instrument panel that has meters with chrome tips that looks great in the dark and rests right behind the three spoke steering wheel. Hand rests have been given to both the seat rows and the seats are very roomy and comfortable.
In between Toyota Corolla Altis and Chevrolet Sail, Corolla Altis does have a very nice and well built interior than Chevrolet Sail.
