The original Toyota 4Runner displays a modern and sophisticated exterior; hence the New Toyota 4Runner would not have required a new makeover.
The exterior is designed with a squared -off nose design and wrinkled headlights similar to the design in Toyota’s Sequoia SUV and Tundra pickup truck. The lift gate has a power window. The other standard exterior features are; 17 inch alloy wheel, roof rails, optional 20 inch wheels, optional power-extending running boards and optional moon roof.

The Toyota 4Runner is fitted with a very powerful 4.0-litre V6 engine attached to a five-speed automatic transmission engine, churning an impressive energy of 270 Bhp. The large dimensional exterior built with quality engineering contributes to the 5000 pound towing capacity of the car. The car is fitted with skid plates, front suspension, transfer case for four-wheel drive options and gas tank.
The New Toyota 4Runner comes with quality safety features with locking centre and rear differentials and a terrain selection system which enables flexible driving in off-road conditions. The Crawl mode ensures the vehicle to move at a slow pace, so that the driver can easily maneuver in tight road conditions without accelerating the gas pedal. The A-TRACK traction control system distributes power to any wheel when the other wheels skid. The Hill descent control enables the 4Runner through off-road terrain, without the need to focus on speed. There is an optional disconnecting bar stabilizer system to provide a good balance to the car on extreme off-road situations. The car is fitted with optional adaptive shock absorbers which automatically adjust to different road conditions. The other standard safety features are eight airbags, antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability system and rear parking sensors.
