Ltd., Toyota Auto Body Co. Ltd., Denso Corp., Aisin Seiki Co Ltd and Toyota Tsusho Corporation. After India and Brazil, Indonesia will become the third country to manufacture Etios brand. South Africa has Etios cars which have been exported from India. India will collaborate with Indonesia to establish its manufacturing unit by exporting CKD kits to Indonesia. The hatchback in Indonesia will remove the Liva badge, but the engine features in the New Etios will be retained as seen in India’s Etios Liva with a 1.2 litre three cylinder petrol engine with 80PS power attached to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. The Etios hatchback is already competing with tough competitors like Honda Brio and Nissan Micra in India. The production venture is estimated at Rs 8.53 lakhs for the high end variant.

The Toyota Etios belongs to entry level mid-sized sedan category. The car has nine variants, two engine options and one transmission option. The Toyota Etios Liva J comes with marvelous interior features with required in a standard car with front door pockets, day or night inside rear view mirror, rear door pockets, driver side Sunvisor, remote tailgate opener and remote fuel lid opener. The car comes with impressive comfort features of glove box, front cabin lights, sporty front headrest, pillow type rear headrest, digital tripmeter and internally adjustable ORVM. The safety features are immobilizer and door ajar warning.

The Toyota Etios Liva G is fitted with a very powerful 1197cc, four-cylinder, four-valves, DOHC petrol engine with a fuel economy of 14.5kpl. The Toyota Etios Liva has an overall rating of three and a half stars out of five. The car has been rated for its exterior look, interior space and good color quality. Toyota India is as of now focusing on developing Etios Liva cars, and is not keen on important other upcoming Toyota cars like Lexus and many others. Toyota is now keen on introducing the Etios to Indonesia without the Liva tag. This is a good strategy for the company to set up a Etios production unit in Indonesia, and further export these cars to other countries. Toyota Etios has overall good features with a powerful mileage. The production of Toyota cars have been not up to the mark because of the natural disasters hitting Japan and Thailand, and also because the petrol hike and high inflation rates in India. To gain steady momentum, the company is now focusing on developing Etios cars.
