The popular Toyota Etios has been unveiled in the car market of Nepal on 23rd of August, 2013 by the United Traders Syndicate (UTS), which is an authorized distributor of Toyota in Nepal. In an inaugural ceremony in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu on Friday, the president of UTS Suraj Vaidya, and the general manager for the Middle-East division of Toyota Motor Corporation Koji Nagata together unveiled the new car in the Nepali car market. As per the company, the quality Toyota Etios boasts of enhancing the comfort level of the passengers with the help of premium interiors, comfortable seating arrangements, ergonomic steering wheel, great suspension, superior handling and basically anything that a modern car consumer can expect in a quality contemporary car.
While speaking on the car launch, Mr. Suraj Vaidya commented that the company has been always proud in its ability of bringing in the latest and the best car models for the car consumers in Nepal. And as an example of this endeavor, the company has brought in the Toyota Etios, a car which represents the modern time by featuring all the most modern aspects and values that one associates with the world’s car leader Toyota.
On the other hand, while commenting on the new car’s arrival in the Nepali market, Nagata said that the new Toyota Etios was developed keeping in mind all the customers’ requirements in the different kinds of roads conditions and various sorts of urban settings result that were revealed after extensive investigation.
He added that the new Etios offers very high quality that is a patent to Toyota’s brand name along with a very affordable price tag. Nagata also said that the Toyota Etios is a leader in its own segment in terms of both fuel economy as well as acceleration. He added by saying that the Etios is a very superior family car that incorporates world-class safety features, so that one can drive with his family with the peace of mind of having proper safety features while enjoying the driving experience of the car.
According to United Traders Syndicate, the Toyota Etios’ engine specifications are the same for the Nepali car market as it is in the Indian car market.
Under the hood, the Toyota Etios gets powered by a 1.5 liter 4 cylinder DOHC petrol motor that is capable of churning the peak torque of 90 PS at 3000 rpm. The potent engine of the Etios is coupled with a 5 speed manual transmission gearbox. The car’s rated fuel efficiency is 16.78 km per liter, revealed the company.
The Toyota Etios boasts of having many world-class features that exudes the style and class of a truly contemporary vehicle fit for the modern age. The Etios packs in a lot of features including ABS, dual airbags and 15 inch alloy wheels among many others. The car takes care of all the requirements in the fields of style, comfort and safety, and comes with a price tag of Rs 34,45,000 in Nepal.
