The renowned Japanese car manufacturer, Toyota Kirloskar has made its mind to release the recent Toyota Innova new Facelift version this month in the nation. The new Innova like before will be launched under the MPV segment and will stand it competition to Renault Duster, newly released Maruti Suzuki Stingray and the newly launched Nissan Terrano from the sheds of Nissan and the big Safari variant Tata Safari Storm Explorer.
Toyota has just released the new face-lifted version of Innova in Indonesia and is all set to release the similar venture in this month in India also.
The face-lifted Multi Premium Vehicle will feature some of the classiest styling tweaks at the front as well as rear side and will give the coupe a completely dynamic and adventurous look. The front part of the coupe possesses a chrome grille along with well-designed amazingly new bumper with chrome garnishing for the fog lights. The rear parts of the coupe has also been changed and given a new look with tweaked bumper, larger number plate housing and chrome surrounds.
The face- lifted version of Innova will come in two varied motor alternatives. The petrol version of the coupe comes powered with 2.0l petrol engine that rendered energy to the previous model also. The car will possess 16 valve DOHC, 4-cylinder, D-4D motor that will produce a power of 136 bhp and maximum torque of 183Nm.
Speaking about the diesel version of this new coupe, it will come powered with 2.5l direct injection turbocharger intercooler that presently powers the previous Innova range. The brand hasn’t announced the release date of the coupe till now.
It will be interesting to see how the car will complete with tis contemporaries. The previous version of Innova was a great success amongst the Indian masses. However, off late the car has lost its charm, thus the company has come up with an idea to release the face-lifted version. Trade analysts expect that the modified version will get a good response from the company. Toyota has just released the coupe in a new International market in Indonesia.
Due to the fall in the value of rupee, the company changed its focus and has shifted to more of exports. It has searched many new export markets for its coupes and components. The brand witnessed a fall of 6.3%in its sales last month. Thus, it surely needs some great invention to pull off its sales and stand back in the competition. While Innova enthusiasts wait for the arrival of face- lifted Innova version in India, the company is making sure that it doesn’t disappoints the masses.
