The new 2014 Toyota Tundra’s new contemporary exterior is complemented to the fullest with an all new interior to provide a great new experience of owning this pickup vehicle. The new 2014 Tundra’s central display has been shifted closer to the driving seat and the front seats get enhanced ventilation.
There are several new interior features depending on the various model trims, such as the metal accentuated and contrasting fabric upholstery, leather trimmings and wooden look accents all over the interior. The top model trims will get premium black leather seats, leather inserts along with stylish chrome accents. The Tundra also comes in a special 1794 Edition which flaunts a Western interior theme with brown leather seats, leather and wood trims along with suede accents throughout the cabin. Other features include reverse camera, a new JBL audio system with Entune, Blind Spot Monitor along with Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
While the 2014 Tundra is fully redesigned, under its hood it remains practically unaltered. The vehicle’s Regular and Double Cab options are powered by the same 4 liter Dual DOHC V6 engine that delivers 270hp of power and 278lb.ft of peak torque and it is mated to a 5 speed automatic transmission gearbox. The Tundra’s V8 options have a 4.6 liter DOHC i-Force V8, and a 5.7 liter DOHC i-Force V8 engines. The full size pickup truck is available in 2 wheel drive as well as all 4 wheel drive options.
The new 2014 Toyota Tundra has 5 model trims, namely SR, SR5, Limited edition, Premium Platinum and 1794 Edition.
