The world’s hybrid pioneer Toyota Motor has been offering a great hybrid minivan known as the Estima. In fact, Toyota had introduced the world’s first hybrid minivan Estima back in the year 2001. This gas-electric minivan also received a makeover in 2006 and now the latest 2013 model is being sold in the Japanese car market.

These huge cars are meant to carry many people comfortable and are not meant to be raced around of course. Being a bulky vehicle you can’t expect to take sharp turns as well. However, the EV only mode is not really enough to move this people carrier for long and thus, the combined mode is more practical.
The Toyota Estima Hybrid minivan is also very fuel efficient considering the minivan standards. The vehicle has a Japan rated 20 kilometers per liter or 47 mpg. The 47 mpg is a good number and is sufficient to impress a minivan buyer.
Thus, the Toyota Estima Hybrid minivan is a great people carrier that offers everything from style, comfort, performance and fuel efficiency. Though minivans are not really meant for everybody, this hybrid is a real great deal.
