Toyota has devised a unique and fun method to promote its Tundra car, though Instagram which is an online network, that enables members to share, edit and upload pictures, and the best part is the images can be shared with friends and families on various social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook, Flickr and so on.
Instagram is loads of fun, and some of the interesting features included in this online portal are one-click rotation, optional borders and digital filters. The enjoyment factor here is never-ending; members can share their photos with just a click on several networking sites. Toyota is promoting the Tundra model, through Instagram videos attached on paid Facebook page.
Toyota has signed a partnership agreement with Moontoast, a reputed social media firm and attractive medium for celebrities, musicians, publishers, retailers, and enterprise brands. The company is purchasing Facebooks page post link ads page to promote the fifteen second stop motion style vids. Toyota has been working on this ad for a while, and can be viewed by clicking the News Feed tab. The customer response for this advertisement has been phenomenal and 800 people have hit the like button.
Florence Drakton, the social media manager of the company to Adweek said, our goal is to construct various aspects for the audience to get attracted to the core, whether it is embedded video or static post. It is too early now to comment on the viewer response levels for the ad, but our team will continue to work on innovative methods.
Drakton also went on to say, Facebook is a robust medium to attract those who are looking for a new model, and today social and digital networks have become popular media tools, and our team is working towards promoting ad campaigns through popular networking channels.
The CTO of Moontoast Marcus Whitney said, Moontoast was the first firm to create an advertisement unit with Instagram video and also incorporate creative collage shots using this platform through Facebook.

Toyota has created a neat collage to promote its Tundra model using Instagram online service on Facebook. The collage is compartmentalized into three segments; the first compartment depicts an image of the Tundra SUV in motion, crossing a pristine river stream with lush green scenery in the background. This picture could depict the power of the car to maneuver on rough terrains with ease. The second photo is segmented into three small square compartments; the first is a display of the car in a forest with awe-inspiring greenery. The car is at close proximity to a river bank filled with stones. The second image showcases a man engineering a sedan; in the third black the actual picture is revealed. The third segment is divided into two blocks; the first one portrays a new posh sedan and the second one, a vintage model.
