The official distributor of Toyota Motors in the UAE, Al-Futtaim Motors has launched the Toyota Corolla Platinum limited edition model in the car market as a gesture to celebrate the month of Ramadan.
The all new Toyota Corolla Platinum limited edition is surely a great car to go for the UAE car consumers, as this special edition model is based on the entry level model of the 2014 Corolla along with some added dealership level features that really enhance the value for money prospect of the premium mid-sized sedan.
The Platinum limited edition model for the all new Corolla sedan gets a lot of attractive added features in order to add to its charm and value for the customers. The special edition model packs in special dual tone leather seats, Bluetooth connectivity, rear parking sensors, 3M window tint and some nice exterior side mirror garnishes apart from the standard features of audio system with steering wheel mounted controls, keyless entry and 15 inch alloy wheels. As the special edition is based on the entry level model of the sedan, the Corolla Platinum edition is also affordable along with some extra features apart from the standard safety features that it comes with, which includes dual airbags, ABS with EBD and daytime running lights.
The all new Corolla Platinum limited edition is available in the car market of UAE in the powertrain rage comprising of two petrol engines namely a 1.6 liter petrol mill and a more powerful 2 litre petrol engine. The 1.6 liter engine has the capacity to produce maximum power of 121 hp and a peak torque of 154 Nm. On the other hand, the 2.0 liter petrol motor can churn out the max power of 143 hp and a peak torque of 187 Nm. Both these engines send the generated power to the front wheels of the sedan through a 4 speed automatic gearbox.
The all new Toyota Corolla Platinum limited edition model has been priced at AED 68,500 (approximately Rs. 11.14 lakhs) for the 1.6 liter variant and AED 68,900 (approximately Rs. 11.21 lakhs) for the 2.0 liter petrol variant. Al-Futtaim motors also recently launched the Toyota Avanza compact multi-purpose vehicle in the UAE market.
