Japanese car major Toyota’s Indian wing, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is busy preparing for the oncoming festive season of the country, which is the best time to sell more cars. TKM is among all the other car makers in India which are busily working out on how to sell more cars during the Indian festive season. Most of the car makers in India will either launch new or refreshed car models during or before the festive season, while the others will come up with special schemes and offers to lure in more customers.

Another great way to add sparkle to the festive season is to launch special edition models during this time of the year, when the car buyers like to buy something special and unique. The special edition car models are also easy to offer for the car makers, as they are mostly slightly enhanced models with some cosmetic changes and dealer level equipment additions. And this is what exactly Toyota has done to get more footprints at its leaderships by launching a special edition model of the Innova MPV.
In order to make the most of the fast approaching Indian festive season, Toyota Kirloskar Motor India has launched a limited edition model of the segment leader Innova MPV on 2nd of September, 2014. The new limited edition Innova model has been priced at Rs. 12.91 lakhs.
The company is calling the new model ‘Toyota Innova Limited Edition’, and to make it truly limited edition and unique, the car maker is going to offer only 1500 units of this special edition Innova in the domestic car market. Moreover, the Toyota Innova Limited Edition will also be available in the market in only a limited period of time, between September to November 2014, which marks the Indian festive season this year.
The Innova Limited Edition model is based on the GX diesel variant of the MPV and is available in the market in both 7 and 8-seater options, and will thus be available in the market only with diesel engine option.
The Toyota Innova Limited Edition gets some nice cosmetic changes and additions to make it stand apart in the crowd from the regular GX diesel variants of the vehicle. The Limited Edition gets chrome accentuated headlights, new attractive body graphics, a prominent limited edition logo at the rear as well as rear combination lamps.
On the inside, the Toyota Innova Limited Edition features new dual tone fabric upholstery, color coordinated door handles and in-car entertainment system with a touch-screen display that also comes with USB, Aux-in and Bluetooth capabilities. The new limited edition Innova also gets two new body color options, namely Bronze Mica Metallic and Silver Mica Metallic.
The new Toyota Innova Limited Edition also packs in some added safety features that include driver side’s airbag and ABS (anti-lock braking system) apart from the other standard safety features that come in the regular GX diesel variant of Innova.
