Toyota to unveil the cross version of Etios hatchback in 2014

Etios has been one of Toyota’s strong contenders; sources claim that the Cross Etios model is set to hit Indian roads to enter a fresh segment. Most car enthusiasts would be familiar with the array of new hatch launches, such as Hyundai i10 Grand, Maruti Suzuki WagonR Stingray and so on. The same is said to be followed in Brazilian markets as well.

Based on information from a popular website, Toyota aims to release a Etios cross model hatchback for Indian markets, this will happen sometime in 2014, when the car undergoes a minor make over.

The Etios cross will emerge in a stylish format with a newly constructed front portion, wheel arch extension and body projection set. There will be modifications in alloy wheels, roof railing and the best part is there will be a cross logo to highlight the cars cross identity. For those who are admire the interiors of Etios, the Etios Cross will be refurnished with minimal modifications with fresh colors and trims.

The Etios Cross features are inspired by the most loaded XLS version, and will be equipped with a potent 1.5 liter Flex Fuel engine that releases remarkable engine outputs of 96bhp. Those who are already excited with the Etios Cross hitting Indian shores should expect a higher price.
