The first sight of trust is dealer service, if dealerships cater to the desires and needs of customers, then the institution becomes completely trustworthy. In the last five years, dealership reputation power has risen by 11%. The other factors that enables smooth delivery of vehicles to customers lies in availability of a particular desired model, swift availability of the vehicle and precise price quotation with little room for negotiation. Adopting the right attitude towards customer satisfaction is a key step towards having complete dealership trust. Customers are willing to pay a higher price of four times if dealerships follow a respectful negotiation approach, higher than customers who are forced to take home the best deal.

The Executive Director at J.D. Power Asia Pacific Singapore said, ‘’ the automotive industry in India has been facing the brunt of weakened economy in the past couple of years, dealers are yet able to put forth best prices in view of customer benefits. The deals are provided with the thought of offering the exact chosen model at fast delivery pace, and most of the time deliveries happen quickly because consumers are willing to pay extra amounts.
