Toyota India registers 18.62% sale decline in 2014 August

The period of August 2014 was not too fruitful for Toyota Kirloskar Motor; the company noted a 18.62% sale decline, with the sale of 12,384 units against 15,219 pieces sold in the corresponding year. The company exported 1,169 pieces of its popular Etios series during the month, and there were insufficient number of buyers compared to the previous year for Etios series. There were only 11,215 buyers significantly lower than 12,007 units sold a year ago.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) did not manage to attract vast crowd during 2014 August period. The company has however managed to gather excitement on the back of the new Etios Cross and eleventh gen Corolla Altis. The two cars are doing reasonably well. The company remains optimistic, and is waiting for festive season to view increased demand.

The company has a plan of action, and is pushing sales of 1500 units of 2014 Toyota Innova Limited Edition from September to November 2014. The price range is minimal at Rs 12.9 to 13 lakhs, bookings and deliveries have started. The Limited Edition Innova is a vehicle to consider and true to its identity, it is exclusive and offers oodles of space, styling and comfort. Reports say the styling and comfort attributes are so rich that it is convenient to travel long distances.

The LE variant is engineered with an innovative D-4D advanced diesel power train also fitted in the present Gx Grade car. The premium factor of Toyota Innova Limited Edition is visible all over the model and the features are on par with a world class piece. The interesting characteristics of the car are refined dual tone fabric seats, anti-lock brake system, driver’s side airbag and all these follow the core characteristics of the firm such as Reliability, Durability and Quality (QDR).

Innova is among the top selling MPV’s in India, it has defined the power and comfort of MPV market. It is a source of inspiration for the recently launched Honda Mobilio and fierce rival to Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. It is a practical move of Toyota to launch Limited Edition Innova. The Gx car is sold in a classy new Bronze Mica Metallic shade, the interiors are vibrant and up market to the core and the exteriors are covered with solid chrome layer.
