Working quickly it is now thought that the Toyota designers came up with something that resembles the C-HR crossover concept in April this year. The design of the C-HR crossover concept, better still the meatier design of the Toyota FT-1 concept is just what the auto enthusiasts probably want to see in the new Prius, which currently looks a bit awkward.

Then again it is better to point out at this point of time that the C-HR concept is definitely not an official or precise preview of the next-gen Prius. However, according to some sources, the “diamond architecture” aspects of the concept might make few appearances or inspire the exterior features of the next-gen Prius Hybrid. These include features like the sporty alloy wheel and the aggressively styled front grille which are remarkably striking.

The current Prius is a hugely admirable hybrid car in the world, but the next generation model of the car will surely be way different from it when it comes to design. For the rear styling of the vehicle, Toyota has given the C-HR concept some more distinct features including boomerang shaped LED tail lights.

The Toyota C-HR concept crossover is not only attractive to look at, but it’s under the hood mechanical specifications are also very impressive. The concept model gets an advanced hybrid system under is bonnet, the details of which are yet not announced by Toyota. The suspension settings of the crossover have also been slightly on the higher range, but the full specifications are yet to be revealed.

The new Toyota C-HR concept crossover model that was revealed features a three-door layout, but it is highly expected to be offered in a five-door version in its final production version.

The new C-HR concept crossover is expected to be positioned by Toyota in its Auris family and it is also speculated to be christened as the “Auris Cross”. Toyota might place the new SUV beneath RAV4 for global markets. As for the Indian car market, there is yet no news whether or not Toyota Motor would like to launch it in India. Looking at its premium class, this new C-HR based SUV might not land up in India due to high costs. However, considering the growing demand for compact crossovers in India Toyota may even create a new cheaper SUV based on the C-HR specifically for India to be competing against the likes of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki SX4 S-Cross.

The new Toyota C-HR crossover concept is thus, Toyota’s answer to the highly popular global compact crossover market.

FT-1 Vision GT concept

Toyota is among the acclaimed global auto manufacturers, the company has produced world class models since inception in 1930’s. The crowd is not satisfied with the outline of Toyota cars in the past few years; the vehicles did not have original refined texture. Toyota iCar

Toyota has launched the iCar concept to enhance creativity of the young demographic. The concept is stimulating and creative; it is not all the time that a car is built with a colorful bonnet. The company has used interchangeable panels in place of screens to just help parents and kids explore fun aspects of driving. The concept of formation of a colorful bonnet is called Camatte 1; it is a sporty family car oriented concept and was displayed in grand style at international Tokyo Toy Show concept.

Toyota did not mention anything about taking the car to production stage; the venue of manufacture is called Camatte Lab. It is divided into two sections, hands on design sector and tech lab. In the hands on design lab section visitors can customize their camatte and in Tech lab section, visitors can get an insight into detailed workings of the vehicle.

The phrase Camatte is derived from the Japanese word caring, and the significance of the word is deep caring. The iCar conept is a three seat vehicle with drive compartment in the middle, the pictures are displayed on dashboard, and the bonnet has more than 7,000 LEDs.

iCar is a classy model, the fascinating element of the vehicle is the various designs on the bonnet. It is a fun experiment for kids to sketch out their creativity and also enhance their imaginative skills to a whole new level. The iCar concept is lots of fun, the over 7,000 LEDs on the bonnet creates a sparkling effect on cars.

Toyota Camatte Concept

The very innovative Toyota Camatte Concept car can be customized by simply creating any colorful image on a paper and then place the image under a camera. Once the camera captures the image, one can then go to the car and simply press a button and presto! You get the reproduction of that same image on the hood and get a dazzling car to behold. Toyota has also released a promotional video in order to make people understand the process in a better way, though it is really simple and not time consuming.

According to the company, even though it was possible for Toyota to produce a more crisp and clear high resolution image on the hood of the Camatte by installing and increasing number of LEDs, the company has made the car in such a way because it can really manage to capture the true essence of the children’s doodles in a more authentic way.

This is not the first model of the Camatte to have been displayed by Toyota, as the company has unveiled the first model of the same concept car at the same Tokyo Toy show back in the year 2012. However, the latest Camatte concept car model is surely more enhanced and practical for real time usage. The name Camatte means caring in Japanese, and the concept car has been named so as it is associated with children and the bond they share with their parents.

The Camatte concept car is a compact family vehicle and showcases a unique three seated layout along with several customized interchangeable panels that are meant to help the parents and kids together share the joy of driving as well as customizing.

At this year’s Tokyo Toy Show, the Japanese car major is displaying two variants of this electric car. The Camatte 57 is a sports car version of the same concept which is being displayed without any body panels to enable the visitors to take a look at the under the hood mechanism of the car. The visitors at the show are also given the opportunity to customize the LED hood of the Camatte 57s Sport model at the Toyota exhibition stall.

It can give prior warning of oncoming vehicles in blind spots and also send signals to the other cars with its high color contrast display announcing its presence.

These advance and futuristic technologies of the FV2 are part of Toyota’s core intent to create a more intense relationship between man and machine.
