The new refreshed 2014 Toyota Hilux is now all the more safe and convenient

The world’s leading automotive giant, Toyota Motors has innumerable bestselling models, and one of these is the Hilux. The Toyota HiLux has been the top selling car model in the Australian car market for over three decades and this is proof enough for its legendary success. Apart from the long heritage, this veteran vehicle sometimes goes ahead leading the entire new car market in Australia in terms of sales volume.

The reason behind this consistent success of the Toyota Hilux truck is its capability and an all-rounder vehicle. This vehicle has everything to conveniently cater to all the needs of a family, be it work or play. This truck can efficiently double up as your comfortable family car on the weekends, while serve faithfully on the weekdays as a work truck. Toyota has incorporated such great interiors with added creature comforts and superb safety features in the Hilux that its owners can be all satisfied with this model, no matter how old it gets.

In order to enhance this all encompassing convenience factor of the Hilux, Toyota has given it the fourth update in the past eight years. The new refresh was needed as the market competition is way too aggressive, and because the next-gen model of the Hilux is still a minimum two years away. Thus, the new 2014 Toyota Hilux emerges in the global car markets.

The 2014 Toyota Hilux models have begun to arrive in the official Toyota dealerships in the international car markets. The new Hilux now comes braced with a 5 Star ANCAP ratings, and a new rear view camera is offered as standard on several of its model trims.

The older model of the Hilux was offered with heavily discounted prices, but this is expected to return to normal as the new models are offered for sale. However due to rising market competition, Toyota is expected to keep its pricing competitive as it had done before also by slashing down its price.

Apart from being greatly durable and convenient, the new Hilux have also added an advanced built-in navigation system along with rear view camera that comes as standard on most of the variants, plus it also packs in six airbags.

On the design front, not much has changed and is more similar to the last model that got a design update one and half years back and featured a new front fascia and refreshed new tail lights. Radical design changes are also not expected not till the next-gen model’s launch.

On the inside, the interior color theme and upholstery are changed to all black. The new black interiors look gorgeous and sophisticated. Toyota has kept the much loved interior storage efficiency same as always.

Moreover, the highly safe Hilux has become even safer. It now boasts of a 5 star ANCAP safety ratings owing to its 6 airbags, newly incorporated seatbelt warning light, a lap-sash belt in the rear seats, and additional padding on the driver’s knee area as standard on all variants.
